Call for Conference papers

The ADBIS conferences provide an international platform for the presentation of research on database theory, development of advanced DBMS technologies and solutions for data engineering and analytics, and their advanced applications. The main objective of the ADBIS series of conferences is to provide a forum for the dissemination of research accomplishments and to promote interaction and collaboration among the database, information systems, data science, artificial intelligence and machine learning communities from European countries and the rest of the world.

ADBIS 2022 will consist of regular sessions with technical contributions reviewed and selected by an international program committee, as well as of invited keynote and tutorial talks presented by leading scientists.

Paper submission

The organizers of ADBIS 2022 invite original papers (not submitted in elsewhere in parallel) describing results that broadly belong to aforementioned list of topics. The aforementioned list of topics is not exhaustive and we welcome novel results addressing topics not included in the list.

The page limits are as follows: (1) full research papers – 14 LNCS style pages, (2) short – 10 LNCS style pages.

Papers should submitted in PDF format using the EasyChair online submission system via link: EasyChair

Authors should consult Springer’s authors’ guidelines and use their proceedings templates, either for LaTeX or for Word, for the preparation of their papers. Springer encourages authors to include their ORCIDs in their papers. In addition, the corresponding author of each paper, acting on behalf of all of the authors of that paper, must complete and sign a Consent-to-Publish form. The corresponding author signing the copyright form should match the corresponding author marked on the paper. Once the files have been sent to Springer, changes relating to the authorship of the papers cannot be made.

Paper Publishing

Full research papers will be published in the Springer LNCS series. Short research papers will be published in the Springer CCIS series. Previous ADBIS proceedings

Special Issues

The best research conference papers and outstanding workshop papers will be invited to submit an extended and revised version to a special issue in a Q1 journal:

Awards

ADBIS 2022 will have the following awards, which will be announced and bestowed at the conference closing session:

  • Best Conference Paper Award
  • Best Doctoral Consortium Paper Award

Diversity and Inclusion Statement

We support Diversity & Inclusion in the ADBIS community therefore we kindly ask authors to adopt inclusive language in their papers and presentations (inclusive writing and inclusive talks), and all participants to adopt the proper code on conduct (code of conduct).

We also encourage women and underrepresented communities to submit papers on the research outcomes of their activity. For such persons we will offer at least 3 free registrations to attend the conference. The ADBIS 2022 organizers will publish guidelines to apply for this opportunity.
